Use Cases
Alviks IK — Paper Distribution App
A mobile app built with Ionic, Angular, and Capacitor for Alviks Idrottsklubb, a Swedish sports club, digitizing toilet- and kitchen-paper sales for the football and floorball sections.
Members select quantities and generate a Swish QR code (Sweden’s ubiquitous mobile payment method) for instant payment, while the club tracks collection status, payments, and revenue — replacing what used to be a manual, paper-based process. Integrates with the SportAdmin club-management API for member data.
Smart Abstract — Conference & ePoster Management Platform
Since 2018, working as Senior Backend Developer at Smart Abstract GmbH — maintaining and extending a heterogeneous application landscape spanning a legacy Symfony 1 system and a newer Symfony 2 API and administration layer.
Built an OAuth2/OpenID Connect identity server on the Slim framework and the initial Angular-based ePoster tool with its Symfony backend API, plus a Dockerized development environment and a self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipeline. The platform runs abstract submission and peer review, drag-and-drop program scheduling, and mobile conference apps for scientific congresses and associations.
CVS://World — Congress Management Platform
A multi-year engagement as Senior Developer, DevOps Engineer, and Project Manager at Heuer HARTSOFT GmbH, building CVS://World — a German congress management platform used by professional associations and PCOs to run scientific conferences end-to-end, from registration and payment to abstract submission, program scheduling, and on-site check-in.
Responsible for the Oracle DB and Docker-based deployment stack, a self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipeline, several Symfony-based backend APIs, and the initial build-out of the Angular/Capacitor frontends. 33+ years in the industry, 2,100+ events, and more than half a million participants served.
